The Goal of mankind is knowledge. Now this knowledge is inherent in man. No knowledge comes from outside. It is all inside. What we say a man ‘knows’, should, in strict psychological language, be what he ‘discovers’ or ‘unveils’. What man ‘learns’ is what he really discovers by taking the cover off his own soul, which is a mine of infinite knowledge. – Swami Vivekananda

മനുഷ്യ വര്ഗ്ഗ ത്തിന്റെ ലക്‌ഷ്യം അവബോധം (ഗ്രാഹ്യം, ജ്ഞാനം, അറിവ്) ആണ്. ഈ അറിവ് മനുഷ്യ സഹജ (അന്തര്‍ലീനം, ജന്മസിദ്ധം) മാണ്. ഒരു അറിവും പുറത്തു നിന്ന് വരുന്നില്ല. എല്ലാം ഉള്ളില്‍ ഉണ്ട്. നമ്മള്‍ പറയുന്നു മനുഷ്യന്‍ ‘അറിയാം’, എന്നത്, പൂര്ണണ മനോവിജ്ഞാനീയമായ ഭാഷയില്‍, അവന്‍ എന്ത് ‘കണ്ടെത്തുന്നു’ അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ‘അനാവരണം ചെയ്യുന്നു’ ആകുന്നു. – സ്വാമി വിവേകാനന്ദ
